All 8lb.1oz., 20 1/4in. of him... He wakes me up every 3 hours at night, and even though I'm tired and haven't slept through the night in over 15 months, I secretly adore it. It's quiet around here at night and I get to enjoy holding him, breathing in that newborn scent, without having to do, or feeling like I have to do, a hundred other things for everyone else. :)

At one week old, he weighed in at 8lb.,6oz and stretched out to 22in. long and now at 3 weeks old, he's already 9lb.,2 oz. ...And I think his eyes are going to be blue. :)

A Little Sibling Love

I think this was the funniest thing I saw today. I got my camera out, wanting to take some pictures of all the kids. So it went like this: Matt got up in the chair and started smiling for me. Genevieve followed because that's what she does (everything he does). Next thing I know is she's hitting him in the head. He's trying to stop her. She gets mad and bites him. He's crying. Then he gets even and punches her.

It's not a very good shot, but those are her teeth marks that he's showing me on his wrist and the last one is her looking rather pleased with herself, if I do say so myself.

I just wanted to say congratulations again to my friend and her family on their new addition. He's beautiful just like your other children! Thanks for having me over the other day! I had fun! :-)
